UEFA Awards 2020: Robert Lewandowski won player of the year award

UEFA Awards list 2020 : Union of European Footballer Associations (UEFA) awards have been given to the players. Robert Lewandowski has secured the UEFA Men’s player of the year award for the first time in his career.

He guided the team to the continental treble by scoring 55 goals in all competitions. Robert also won the champions league for the first time in his career. The women’s player of the year award goes to Pernille Harder and best coach of the year award goes to Bayern Munich coach Hansi Flick.

The best defender award goes to young teammate of Joshua Kimmich. During all of this, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne prevented Bayern Munich’s absolute dominance on the awards as he became the best midfielder.

The Best goalkeeper award went to Manuel Neuer, who has seen a marvellous resurgence lasts season, leading his side to clinch the treble.
