IPL 2020: Delhi Capitals all-rounder Pulls Out Of Indian Premier League

Sports Desk- Before the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, the Delhi Capitals team suffered a major setback. Because England all-rounder Chris Woakes has withdrawn his name from the IPL. Delhi Capitals (DC) included him in the team as an all-rounder with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore.

If sources are to be believed, he withdrew his name from the tournament to stay fresh for the England domestic Test season. This is another bad news for Delhi Capitals, as South African fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Ishant Sharma are already battling injuries.

With Chris Woakes removed, Delhi can now include Alzarri Joseph, Colin de Grandhomme and Mustafizur Rahman in the squad.
