Yesterday’s match was full of coincidences and what if I tell you the whole match was a replica of itself. After yesterday’s match Australia is all set to play final against New Zealand on 14th November. And here we are with one of the most interesting coincidence from yesterday’s game which will take you back in 2010 T20 world cup semi final which was played between Australia and Pakistan.

Pakistan and Australia played their second semi final of T20 world cup against each other. Back in 2010 both the teams met each other in semi final of third T20 world cup and yesterday too they met each other for another T20 world cup semi-final. Australia was trying to protect their unbeaten record against Pakistan in ICC events and they protected it comfortably.

Hero of yesterday’s match was Matthew Wade who scored 41 off just 17 balls and took his team to the finals. And what if I tell you there was another left-handed aussie batsmen who played similar kind of innings and took his team to finals in 2010. He was Michael Hussey, the former Australian left-handed batsmen.

There are many similarities between Hussey and wade innings. Wade took charge against Shaheen Afridi in 19th over and smashed three sixes to him and in 2010 it was Hussey who took charge against Saeed Ajmal and won the game in last over with two sixes and a four.

Wade almost repeated the Hussey’s innings and that too against the same team and also in the same tournament. It was almost over for Australia in both the matches but Hussey in 2010 and wade in 2021 turned the things in favour of Australia.
