We are in the second edition of the World Test championship where test matches are played all around the world between different cricketing nations for two years and then a table of points is made to select the top to finalists. The first WTC final was played between India and New Zealand where New Zealand won the final and became the first WTC champion. In this article, we will see the top 5 highest individual scores in WTC.

#5 Mayank Agarwal

India’s opening batsman Mayank Agarwal played a 243 runs knock against Bangladesh at home in the 2019 test series which was a part of the World Test Championship. Mayank was also awarded the player of the match for his knock. India registered a win by an innings and 130 runs in that match. Mayank’s 243 is the fifth highest individual score in WTC.

#4 Kane Williamson

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson played a stunning knock in December 2020 against West Indies at home. In the first test at Hamilton Williamson played a 251 runs knock against West Indies. The match was a part of WTC. Kane was given the player of the match. New Zealand won the match by an innings and 134 runs. The 251 runs knock of Kane Williamson is the fourth-highest individual score in WTC.

#3 Virat Kohli

India’s most successful Test skipper Virat Kohli played a knock of 254* runs against Protea’s home in 2019 at home. In the 2nd test of the India Vs South Africa test series. Virat in the first innings while batting scored 254* runs which is the third-highest individual score in WTC. India won the match by an innings and 137 runs. Kohli was also given the player of the match for his brilliant knock.

#2 Zak Crawley

England’s young star Zak Crawley is a very talented player in this modern generation of cricketers. Crawley’s knock of 267 runs in 2020 against Pakistan at home is the second-highest individual score in WTC. It was the third test match at Southampton and the match was drawn but the player of the match was given to Zak Crawley for his incredible 267 runs knock which came when he batted at No.3.

#1 David Warner

In the second test match of the Australia Vs Pakistan test series of 2019. Australia’s opener David Warner played a knock of the ages. He scored 335* runs in the first innings for Australia. Warner played this knock in a WTC match. Australia won the match by an innings and 48 runs. Warner was given the player of the match for his exceptional 335* knock and the best part of his knock was he was gone not out. Warner’s 335 runs are the highest individual score in WTC so far.
