Christian Eriksen got collapsed during the game between Denmark and Finland
Denmark and Finland were against each other in their first group stage match of UEFA Euro 2020. Though Finland won the game by 0-1, the match will be remembered for a different reason.
Christian Eriksen suddenly fell to the ground near the end of the first half during his side’s (Denmark) clash with Finland.
He was given CPR by frantic medics who sprinted onto the pitch at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The match was suspended but later resumed after the amazing news of Eriksen’s consciousness. Danish Football Union confirmed that their star player ‘is awake’ and awaits further tests at hospital.
Eriksen’s agent Martin Schoots told Danish radio station that he was breathing and could speak and is out of danger. The Denmark international also understood to have spoken to teammates from hospital bed to reassure them of his condition.
